Eden C. Steele
Ms. Steele focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and appeals. She has extensive experience in toxic tort, products liability and environmental litigation cases. She is also proficient in cases involving contract and commercial disputes, real property and employment disputes. Ms. Steele resides in the Roaring Fork Valley near Aspen, Colorado.
Ms. Steele received her law degree from the University of Denver College of Law (Order of Saint Ives) in 1994. She was a member of the Denver University Law Review and served on the Law Review’s Editorial Board for 1993-94. She received her undergraduate from the University of Kentucky (with high distinction) in 1985. Ms. Steele is a member of the Colorado Bar and has practiced in Colorado since 1994. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Steele was with the Aspen, Colorado law firm of Garfield & Hecht, P.C. Prior to that, she was an associate with the Denver offices of the national law firms of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, LLP and Popham Haik Schnobrich & Kaufman.
Ms. Steele is a volunteer tutor with the Adult Literacy Program in the Roaring Fork Valley. She is also a past member of the Board of Directors of the Aspen Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Ms. Steele served for over ten years as a volunteer tutor/mentor to children in need in programs in both Denver and the Roaring Fork Valley.
