Kali Backer is an associate at Sander Ingebretsen & Wake, P.C. Kali has been practicing commercial litigation and has handled cases regarding breach of contract, Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act claims, and breach of statutory duty of support claims and has drafted numerous briefs in support of preliminary injunctions, reply briefs, settlement agreements, mortgages, promissory notes, petitions for administration, and petitions for guardianship.
Kali received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007, graduating cum laude, and received her law degree from Vanderbillt University Law School in 2011.
Kali tutored low-income urban youth in English, Biology, United States History, Algebra, and SAT and worked with failing students for an additional three hours every weekday and on weekends to strengthen their reading, writing, and math skills. Kali was also with the Tennessee Department of Health General Counsel.
